What is the
PicoLazer?
Though there are various types of laser treatments on the market, not all lasers are created equal. Nanosecond lasers, which deliver pulses of light in nanoseconds, have been used for many years. Picosecond lasers, on the other hand–like the PicoLazer–deliver light in trillionths of a second.
Individuals with the following skin concerns may benefit from treatment with the PicoLazer: fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, melasma, sunspots, age spots, freckles, moles, and tattoos.
Benefits
Many Capabilities
PicoLazer can be used to rejuvenate skin and treat benign skin conditions and discoloration including acne scars, sun spots, freckles, and pigmented lesions. It can also be used for tattoo removal.
Advanced Technology
The PicoLazer machine offers high performance speed without sacrificing patient comfort.
Non-Thermal
PicoLazer energy is “non-thermal,” meaning it doesn’t cause thermal damage. Energy is delivered using a photo-mechanical effect with high peak power. Ultra short pulse durations provide results safely and effectively.
Fast Pulses
PicoLazer’s 450-picosecond pulse duration laser technology outperforms Q-switched lasers, or nanosecond lasers.
Choosing PicoLazer
PicoLazer treatments are an effective and more convenient alternative to traditional lasers, chemical peels, and dermabrasion, allowing individuals to return to their daily activities without any downtime. One treatment with the state-of-the-art picosecond laser technology means that individuals may see improvements after a single treatment, but will typically need repeated treatments for long-lasting results.
Treatment is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding. PicoLazer is also not recommended for patients with any active infections (viral or bacterial), or malignancies.
