About the PRP Facial

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is created by separating the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma. A nurse draws blood from the patient to obtain the PRP used during treatment. PRP contains many types of growth factors that support healthy skin and healing.
PRP Facial Benefits
No downtime
No side effects
100% natural
No risk of allergic reaction
Little to no pain or discomfort during the procedure
What to Expect
The process begins by drawing a blood sample. The sample is then spun in a centrifuge (a machine that separates the red blood cells from the PRP). While the PRP is being prepared in the lab, an aesthetician will begin microneedling the client’s face. After 30 minutes of microneedling, the aesthetician will massage the PRP into the client’s skin.
Microneedling stimulates collagen production and enhances absorption of PRP into the skin. The growth factors in PRP help restore a healthy appearance by tightening the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, and evening skin tone.
A PRP facial typically takes one hour, beginning with blood withdrawal to application.
How PRP Affects the Skin

A PRP facial has growth factors that stimulate the growth of collagen, which is a protein that provides structural support and enhances skin texture and appearance. Over time, the body produces less collagen, leading to the formation of lines and wrinkles.
By stimulating collagen production, the PRP facial helps rejuvenate, tighten, and smooth skin. The procedure also effectively treats hyperpigmentation, discoloration, age spots, and acne scars, helping to clear skin.
